The above quotes are an example of the “new tone” in Washington. It’s ironic…left wingers accusing Republicans and the Tea Party of being terrorists. I wonder if Ms. Carlson has ever heard of Obama friend and mentor Bill Ayers…a man who participated in the bombings of the Capitol building in 1971?

It is a terrifying thought; the president of the United States of America deliberately causing the collapse of the economy. What’s that you say? The Cloward and Piven Strategy is just right-wing, conspiratorial nonsense? Okay then, tell me, what exactly is Obama doing?

All I hear from Obama is that everything is George Bush’s fault. All I hear from Harry Reid is that any GOP debt plan is “dead on arrival” in the Senate. All I hear from Nancy Pelosi is that the GOP wants to destroy the world as we know it with their debt plan. Well, in Nancy’s case, that may be true…no more private jets, gourmet groceries, and top shelf booze on the taxpayers dime, eh, Nancy? Enough campaign crapola. I want to hear the Democrat’s plan. I want to hear the Obama’s plan.

The Democrats failure to present a plan to stop the U.S. from defaulting on the debt leads me to one conclusion; that the U.S. defaulting on the debt is their plan…the Cloward and Piven Strategy…economic collapse.

Okay, so you think I’m a right-wing conspiracy theorist. Without the political rhetoric (you know, calling me a racist, redneck, homophobe, etc.) convince me that I am wrong about Obama and Cloward and Piven.

Yeah, I didn’t think so.

Operation Fast and Furious

It is thought by many that the Obama administration ran “Operation Fast and Furious” as a means to end…the end being an excuse to justify stricter gun control laws (for instance, read American Thinker’s The Real ‘Under the Radar’ Target of Operation Fast and Furious).

For the second time in as many days, the actions of the Obama administration have me flashing back to a previous administration. This time it’s the Clinton administration and the standoff and assault on the so-called “Branch Davidian compound” in Waco, Texas.

The initial raid on the “compound” was merely a dog and pony show for public and media consumption…a public relations stunt to garner public support for stricter gun control laws. Congressman Charles Schumer, it was said, had the gun control legislation in hand and was going to introduce it in conjunction with the raid. Needless to say, the Clinton administration’s plan went horribly awry.

Now another Democrat’s scheme to circumvent the Constitution has gone awry. “Operation Fast and Furious” has cost lives. At least one American citizen and countless Mexican citizens have been murdered by weapons supplied by the Obama administration through “Operation Fast and Furious.”

The media, for the most part, is ignoring this story (if it doesn’t matter to Media Matters, it doesn’t matter to the mainstream media). An American citizen being murdered by a Mexican drug lord with a weapon supplied by the Obama administration is not news to left wing outfits like Media Matters…it is collateral damage. You see, the lefties…the progressives, the liberals, the Socialists, etc…are at war with the United States of America. And in war, there are bound to be causalities. The left doesn’t mind a little shooting…so long as the right people get shot.

This story will probably die and be buried in the grave next to the victims of Obama’s “Fast and Furious” operation. God help us all. – Lew -

“Let Them Eat Peas”

“Eat your peas.” That is Obama’s advice to Americans who are suffering because of his incompetence and utter failure as president to deal with the faltering economy. I’m flashing back to Jimmy Carter and his sage advice to the American people when his economy was in the tank…“wear a sweater.”

Perhaps, as suggested by some, this is Jimmy Carter’s second term. The problem is we don’t have Ronald Reagan to save us this time around. Another problem we have is that the Republicans apparently learned nothing from Reagan. You beat Obama the same way Reagan beat Carter…with conservative ideas and ideals. But is there a candidate up to the task?

Michele Bachmann seems to be the only candidate in the running with true conservative credentials. Sarah Palin, while not officially a candidate, has the creds. Huntsman? Maybe. My advice? If you are a conservative, then be a conservative. Don’t get wishy-washy in hopes that the media will say nice things about you. They are going to crucify you in the end anyway. Ignore them. Be yourself, be conservative. Conservative values are American values.

The Republican Party does not have a good track record when it comes to conservative candidates however. They did, after all, run Dole against Clinton and McCain against Obama. I liked Bob Dole…though signing on as spokesman for erectile dysfunction after losing to Clinton seemed a bit to on the money. And McCain, well, was McCain. I’m still not sure what side of the fence he grazes on. Hopefully the party learned their lesson and won’t shoot themselves…and us…in the foot again. –Lew-
